Student of the Vienna Academy, he became its member in 1818. From 1810 he worked as art teacher. His works can be found in the Austrian Gallery Belvedere and other museums. On verso another antique scene with graphite. Condition: In good overall condition, slight trace of a vertical fold, one spot of foxing on lower edge, unframed.

Measurements: UNFRAMED:28,8x36,3cm/11,3x14,3in. Technique: sepia and grey wash on paper. Inscription: on verso several collector's stamps.
